My prediction at the beginning of the season is we have 2 losses this year and finish 10-2 which would be yet another stellar season for our LSU Tigers. I am sticking to that prediction. We lose two conference games this year...
12-0. This panic mode stuff is crazy. LSU rolls Florida. Dreskel is gonna look like a young QB against our defense. Only game I have concerns with are Bama, and even them I think we have more talent, just a matter of execution.
I'm with everybody else, Saturday makes the sample size much more complete. If the Team who rolled Washington shows back up......we run the board. But if this hot mess we have seen the last 2 weeks is going to continue, we are lucking to split the next 4 games, going 2-2 and we finish out 10-2 possiblt 9-3 with a trip to Atlanta (for the chick fil a bowl) Honestly, immediately after the Auburn game, week leading up to Townson, and after Townson I was dead set we are a 2 or 3 loss team, but after running some stats, listening to some of the players (Minter, Landry, Bennie, Mett, Reid) talkabout getting back to playing LSU football "dominating their opponent" I just have this feeling they are getting ready to pounce Going with my heart on this: 12-0 Baby! I hope Tigers of Washington show up. I am afraid they will slip up somewhere. I predict 11-1 but beat the gumps the go to the SEC Conf CG win there we still hold a shot at the BCS NC.
I mean, we all know LSU has the talent. I think what really escapes us is that, while we are accustomed to youth starting, we seem to assume they will always just be perfect. We are incredibly young and we have also lost some of your vets to injury. SO with that said, the inconsistency and the experience of learning that you can’t just show up to games to win has played is role.
