    I just reject it. :hihi:

I don't think not being at mid-season form is the only reason for... if you allow for creative license... our woes.

So you're saying that the people could be right -- as in we may not reach mid-season form?

I drink Coors Original by the gallon. Fine pilsner made from High mountain hops and rocky mountain water.

Oh and it was the beer Smokey and the Bandit were bootlegging in the movie.

Trying to understand and constructively criticize is one thing, SF is politely addressing the bashers that have dubbed this team, the coaches, and the season before we even have a chance to reach our peak.
Funny thing is how the tone of the threads change as the days progress from game day.

If I'm not included in that group then there are few enough posters who fit the criteria to not warrant mention. Most of us don't simply hate Miles or expect perfection from LSU. I imagine MilesFan had posters like me in mind.

I'll let you know when we hit mid season.

    One who gets it.

    Not until this thread.

"Blended scotch is craaaaap!", even JW in any color. Sorry, you just aint lived if you think thats top shelf. Save up your money and buy single malt, ...cask strength if you can find it. I myself have been waiting for a special occasion to open my bottle of a'bunadh.

Oh yeah, mid-season. Umm, it gets better as you consume more adult beverages.

Its defiinitely about preference because money aint the issue. Single malts have a lasting after taste that is distinct. Glenlivet is probably my favorite blend, because of the smoothness.

Again, you haven't lived. I think its more about inexperience. Try spending a few weeks in Scotland and get back with me. You get blended whiskey by marrying higher and lower quality singles from different batches and sometimes even ages :( to produce a uniform and easily reproduced and average taste on the cheap.

The smoothness of a single is based entirely on the way it is casked and finished. As an experiment, go out and find a bottle of Glemorange Port finished single, and let me know what you think about its smoothness.

Glenlivet is not that great, but I did just finish a 21 year old that was pretty smooth. It and Glenfiddich are just the most popular import but by no means the best. Kinda like BigMac/Whopper are the most popular burger but no one will argue that it is the best. MaCallen is much better and just as available.
