I do not feel bad that I get into games and feel a bit bummed when we underperform. My life does continue and I still love my family. Caring about LSU football adds spice to my life, the ups and downs are what makes it great. Allowing myself to believe that I have a bit of insight come Monday morning is fun and I enjoy discussing this with other fans. Watching Georgia and Arkansas run up and down the field, each vs an SEC defense, when LSU struggled vs a SunBelt defense, makes me wonder. Jefferson's limitations make me doubt that we'll approach being a complete team this season. Other things I'm curious about: :That our running game continues to struggle to get something going :That the pressure we put on opposing QBs is negligible :The mediocrity of our return game Our defense hasn't seemed very special so far, but I can sense improvement there. I can sense improvement in Jefferson's ability. Our kicking game has been pretty solid. I believe our WRs can be special if given the opportunity. Miles doesn't seem to produce dominance as much as he produces toughness. I guess true dominance is rare in college football, and we do play in the rough-n-tumble SEC, so I have to continually remind myself of that. As much as Saban preached dominance, when his ducks aren't lined up his teams look average or worse in big games. I'm still hanging onto the Miles bandwagon, but it is a struggle for me to hold on at times. All the optimists around here help in their way.
Que that's racist. Hoegaarden-I-Like. If you haven't... quaffed (?)... Hoegaarden, try some with (yum) or without orange. It's Earth-shattering.
