We finished 116 of 128 in passing. Green QB my ass. 94th in 2012 106th in 2011 107 in 2010 97th in 2009 71st in 2008 But hey, we won more games than we lost and Cam makes more than most all OC's. It's not like its 1 year out of 10 we have bad passing. It's 1 year out of 1 out of 7 we field a passing attack.
I'm sorry but Miles not deserve a cent more after this year. Again, it is NOT a matter of losses but how LSU performed. There was no excuse for LSU to start the game with such a poor gameplan in most games. LSU came out flat in many games. Add to that the pathetic, conservative O that plagued the season.
I think Chavis deserves a raise, we saw consistent improvement throughout the season. I know people are going to disagree, but I thought Jennings really peaked against Alabama, he ran the ball really well and if not for the 4 drops by receivers and 1 out of bounds TD catch by Dupree LSU would have won that game. However he played poorly in just about every other game, save half 2 against Wisconsin. The low point was obviously Arkansas and MSST. So really Jennings only gave us 6 quarters of good play. Harris 4 quarters of good play, and for that I do not believe Miles or Cameron should receive a raise, Frank Wilson and Jeff Grimes I feel deserve a raise because if not for the tailbacks and O line, this would have been one of those seasons that could have clipped LSU's bowl streak, and Les I don't think would survive too many of those seasons.
It The reality is payment of a raise for the coaches is not about wether they deserve it or not it is about where the pay scales are headed with their peers
The big question is does Miles WANT to change the situation at QB? When Miles makes a hire it's usually an improvement. He makes changes when he sees a need. However this seems to be the type QB that Miles likes. Does he see a need for change or does he feel comfortable in his safe little cocoon of one dimensional offense?
Supply and Demand. If noone is demanding his services besides LSU, then the price is fixed though one could argue his supply has been dwindling as of late.
ajj peaked during the iowa game. its basically one flat line on the graph. just like les likes it. 50 runs, 10 passes. 110 yards, no picks. ahh the fun it must be for the wide receivers. So we have an all-pro rookie nfl team who had a 5-3 conference record last year. i just wish we had rebuilding years like alabama.
Man, I agree... That really is the question. I think he believes there is no problem, and that it's strictly a matter of time before either Harris or Jennings just "gets it". Which is admirable and boneheaded at the same time.
