With QB play I think we at least match Bama, if not stay ahead. Noones saying win nc every year or fire the coach. It just appears there is an obvious deficiency keeping us from top of the heep success (which doesn't mean every year or even every other year) - I don't see how you continue to gloss over it. Many think we could be a little more in the rotation.
So could any team if they wished their weaknesses away. And make no mistake, all teams have weaknesses. I do not gloss over LSU's quarterback troubles, I acknowledge them. We have room to get better, which ain;t a bad problem to have. I just don't imagine that Les or anybody else can make LSU perfect.
For the millions. LSU pays, we should average better than 50th in the country. Not the 100s were we have been for the past 5-6 years minus Mett. Cam and les make far to much money to be in the 90s/100s on any year. It's not like the passing game improved they basically gave up on passing and ran Jennings vs A&M.
Why not? He went out and got Mettenberger and Cameron. He's made changes before and he's gone after top quarterbacks.
So . . . because we pay for top coaches, LSU cannot ever have a year with green young quarterbacks? We finished the season ranked in the top-25, you know.
Les deserves a million dollar raise for being ranked 4th in the SECW and 23rd nationally. Write the check Joe.
Because he has a track record of the opposite. Yes he got mett and I give him credit for that but the trends don't point in a positive direction. JJ, JL, AJ, BH, RP to name a few.
