Old news here. The writer conveniently doesn't quote Les directly. Michigan insiders are very sensitive that they asked Les to accept the job twice and were twice turned down. Which is why they won't ask again and Les won't have to say anything bad about Michigan.
Mich will not be turned down again. They will only offer if they know for sure that Les will take the job. Many schools won't give a true offer unless they are sure that you will take the job. Even LSU has done this before, holding off on the offer. Mich found this out the hard way.
