Welcome to the board, A2J. Thanks for the comments about my post.:thumb: You brought up the "swimming" issue...about his daughter. I know that UM has a great program there...and there is also a wonderful swimming program at one of the high schools there...Pioneer I think. I don't think the adjustment would be too difficult for her as far as finding a good place to competitively swim...but that she's in a place NOW with a coach NOW and in a situation NOW that she MAY not wanna leave to go to the unknown. I have no idea how big of a deal it is for her...but it's just another issue I'm sure CLM will have to consider.
I'm hoping this "process" plays out in a way that completely transforms Coach Miles into a 100% LSU man. It's probably going to take a Michigan snub to make that happen.
Just a little deviation from the topic, but what is the record for the longest running thread? I haven't been around here for too long, but this thread has more pages/post than I can remember seeing before. The really amazing thing though, is that the overwhelming majority of the post are good, rational discussions. Continue....
I am pretty sure the "Rep points for Christmas" thread a couple years ago had more pages then that. But I could be mistaken.
That one may have been before my time. I know the Q & A thread in th roundtable was pretty long before it got deleted, but this is the 1st one I thought of.
A Michigan fan on another forum was saying Michigan's AD, will not contact Miles untill after the SEC Championship game, because he did not get a hold of John Beilien, the Men's Basketball Coach, last year, untill after the NIT Championship game ( and that was three weeks, after they fired Tommy Ammaker). I'm hearing UM will offer him after the SECCG, he's going to accept, and Miles WILL be allowed to coach in the NC game. This will give us time to hire Spurrier. Some guy I don't even know posted this on another forum but it certainly lends itself to what I've been saying- and it wasn't just something I pulled out of the air. Whether or not it plays out that way, only time will tell.
