Good point. Old saying in politics: "Friends come and go.......enemies accumulate".

"I won't be able to listen to CLM's press briefing at 12:15, so if someone can give me a quick summary when it happens, it'd be much appreciated and will earn you some valuable reputation points!"

I will sum it up for you.
"Right now I am focused on my team and what lies ahead of us"
    "I dont deal in speculation"
"Bo would have told me to focus on who my team is today"
"I want to talk about Arkansas"
"I dont discuss my job status"
    "Next question"

That should sum it up if you are curious how he will react if asked about UM

I bet he wishes he would've stuck it out at Miami one more year, then he could potentially have been in a good position to come to LSU. I bet he will really wish that he stayed at Miami next Sunday after they lose to Auburn.

In general I like Carr (easy to do when you're kickin his behind) but he's far from one to call out recruiting "issues". His recruitment of Donovan Warren left more than a few bad feelings in SoCal.

I don't know but it may have to do with the recruitment of Jai Eugene. A friend of told me that Les and Bo Schembechler had "words" over the phone over this. I have no idea if this is true but it does sound plausible, ie, a "Michigan man" wouldn't have done such a thing. Who knows. If Miles doesn't come outin the very near future and say he isn't interested in the job, then IMHO, he is gone.

"I'm curious about how many will be disappointed if he stays"

Well I sure some would be frankly I would be fine if he stayed and just as fine if he left. If he stays then my opinion of him would go up considerably. regardless of my weekly "What the hell are you doing" rampages I realize he knows more about football than I. AND more importantly IF he stays then i am convinced he is that "LSU guy" we have all begged for. he turned down his dream job to stay here.
IF he doest stay (which I give us little chance) than we need to take the good with the bad. There will be games that LSU loses, you cannot win forever. LSU will eventually lost to Alabama again, we wont be ranked in the top 5 every week. BUT I am fine with that if this team is competitive, stays out of jail and we have a program to be proud of. Even if Miles is our coach.
