    If Michigan had been withing endzone range of the QB's are he could have dropped back, scrambled until he was about to be caught and then thown a high pass with as much hang time as possible out of the back of the endzone.

    They only needed 2 yards for the first down. I wonder why this hasn't been tried - go up to the line and act like you're trying to draw them offsides, then have the QB raise up like it didn't work and do a direct snap to the back. 2 yards might be too many to try this, but it or some variation of the fake draw them offsides, then hike the ball should work when you only need a yard or less.
