I like it actually, the Vince Gill offense in TS, it would be electric if nothing else? May not put up the #'s because of the SEC D he will face but still lots of gusto.

Again, I don't think Miles is so stupid as to tell his players the day before a championship game. If he did, I have to believe this would be all over the news by now. I don't believe it and until Hester or Flynn or Doucet or Dorcey said he did I won't believe it.

Let's use just a LITTLE common sense here, fellas.

I am not in the know at all. Have not heard from my cousin who went to the bar with an old girlfriend, etc...
But the thing that seems very odd is why TT has not signed off on his offer yet with AUB? If he was not waiting for a better (leaves arky out) offer, why would he have not signed?
I am no 8 ball, but all signs point to......him hoping he gets that call, or has already got it and does'nt want to distract his NEW TEAM even more.
I think he would be great.

IF CLM and Bo told the team it MIGHT remove the distraction factor and motivate them to "win one for our coaches" kind of emotion. The Seniors certainly want to go out as SEC Champs, so maybe ending the uncertainty would be a good thing.

    Or not. :eek:ldskule:

    Miles staying at LSU

ATLANTA - LSU football coach Les Miles is staying with the Tigers and not going to his alma mater, Michigan, LSU officials confirmed this afternoon.

The school has scheduled a press conference for 1:50 EST time today, hours before LSU kicks off in the Southeastern Conference championship game, to announce the new deal, according to people involved in the matter, and Miles has reportedly informed the team of his decision.

The sudden press conference and the news came after ESPN reported this morning that Miles would take the open coaching job at Michigan, his alma mater. Speculation has been rampant about Miles future for weeks, but he has never tipped his hand on whether he was leaning toward Baton Rouge or Ann Arbor.

Miles could not be reached for comment and the exact reasons for his apparent decision remained unclear. LSU Athletic Director Skip Bertman has consistently said he believed Miles would remain at LSU.

When asked about reports that Miles has elected to stay at LSU, Herb Vincent, the school's senior associate athletic director, said "I believe those to be true" Vincent said the schoolwould address the matter fully at the afternoon press conference.

    I rest my case

I am so happy this board didn't turn like tigerdroppings, who had like a 30 page thread on a guy saying Miles told LSU players he was leaving for Michigan. Tigerforums is the best LSU forum on the internet
