Re: Saban open to talks with LSU

saban does not even think of coming back to lsu. screwing alabama after one year and $4,000,000 is too low, even for a snake like saban. lsu is nuts it they even think of having his butt back in la.

I know this is highly unlikely, but just the thought of Saban coming back and what the Bama supporters would think, just brings a smile to my face. :hihi: They'd have to go back to their raising the Bear from the dead rituals again.

That's utter nonsense. It may never happen, but don't think for one second he doesn't regret leaving and wants to be back here.

Coach Miles tells recruit he's staying at LSU

    http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071130/SPORTS0601/711300402/1345/SPORTS

Of course Glenn Guilbeau wrote the article that appears in today's Tennessean in Nashville.

So I open my morning email and get this same link from a gump co-worker who is laughing his ass off saying "nice to be focused for the SEC champ game isnt it?".

This thread on Tiger Droppings, which is a terrible place I might add, says Miles told some players at practice yesterday that he was leaving. Supposedly, according to my gump co-worker, the thread contains confirmation of the same by some posters who know players. I wont read it, wont even go to that site but can anyone here confirm this happened?

Rumor: 1. general talk not based on definite knowledge; hearsay 2. an unconfirmed report, story, etc. in general circulation

Speculate: to think about the various aspects of a subject; ponder; esp., conjecture

Innuendo: an indirect remark, gesture, or reference , usually implying something derogatory; insinuation

Just so we'll all know exactly what we are doing !

Re: Saban open to talks with LSU

He's said he regrets leaving college football. There is no doubt to that even though it was something quickly dismissed here months ago.

What you have to ask yourself is the bridges have been burnt, and by whom?

As far as this thread in concerned and the link to the DelGreco interview, Finebaum was asked yesterday afternoon by a good friend of mine in B-ham if he believed DelGreco indeed had a source that said this...his response was "no, don't believe a word of it."

DelGreco asserting he doesn't just "throw things out there" is a bold faced lie. He's been doing the same thing for two years.

A conversation last night with the station manager of WJOX said they were getting flooded with calls from advertisers ticked off about the things DelGreco has thrown out there over the last two years.

I have a suspicion where all of this started, but it's just coincidental.

Yeah, and that drive against Florida is the definition of a colck management. Kill most of the quarter, score, and make your opponent have to try to force things because they don't have enough time to do anyhing else.
