I like Ron Jaworski, Steve Young, Tom Jackson and Ditka is tolerable. I really get negative about the clowns ESPN trots as analyst for football, college and NFL. In other sports, their analysts for the most part are at least tolerable to watch with a few exceptions.

There are three "loud mouth" analyst that I feel are out there. Irving, Sanders, and Shannon Sharpe. Sanders I actually found funny at times, Sharpe I always enjoy listening to him try and pronounce words, but Irving I could not stand. He was more concerned with upstaging the others on the show. Glad he's gone.

Irvin was an important cog in the ESPN NFL wheel because he was a person that current players trusted enough to sit down and be candid about hot topics....case in point T.O. and his McNabb days. The only other analyst out there today who can parallel this is Prime Time. I think this is a bad move on ESPN's part, no matter how smug Irvin is, and I agree with Clair that this will put the NFL Network in the lead once they resolve their Time Warner hang up.

This is best way to take a mugshot. The "Tom DeLay" method of smiling so that the media cannot splash your mugshot with you looking like you are either a)about to cry or b) about to punch the cameraman in the face.

They just said on Local Radio here in Dallas

That it was mutual because he wants to seek a career in Movies.

I smell another Stone Cold with the Boz on the horizon.

    That's the worst case scenario.

The best case? He's the next Bubba Smith.
