A ton of rookies played tonight so that is a bogus argument. Ford fell too far behind Ridley and Murphy the 2nd half of practices. Just the mental aspect of it and has had problems with going the wrong way on plays and the playbook in general. Ridley says he is almost there.
I can see that but putting the ball on the turf should earn you a spot on the pine, at least temporarily.
Word from some of the players is that Blue actually was ahead of Ford at times toward the week's practices because of Ford's mental mistakes. So if anyone was going to it could of been Blue who should have got the ball.
Wow, Ford is simply too dumb to see the field, in other words. I find that incredible to say the least. Richardson from Bama is running all over the field with his God given abilities, and he was doing that in his true freshman year as well. We can't get this kid on the field in his 2nd year. Pure freshmen are beating him out now. Running back is the easiest position to transition to from high school to College or College to the NFL. This is stunning.
