As orson swindle might write...."giggity!" I hesitate to say this (and I'm knocking on wood) but I hope he stays healthy.
:geaux::crystal::helmet: Ford is simply awesome is seems to get better with each game. Def. Coords. in District 3-4A are makin' a run on TUMS! Can't wait to see Ford and Pratt together in the backfield! Any word on what Pratt did last night and how his season is going? :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
Ford's last game, he went for 274 yards on 28 carries, with 3 TDs. I think it's almost a certainty this kid will get upgraded to 5-star. His next game is against one of the worst teams in the state period. He could log 300 yards easily against Grant. I don't expect him to play past the 3rd quarter...it will be that bad. He passed the test IMO when he went for 180 against West Monroe. I hope his team is good enough to get deep into the playoffs and meet my boys in Bastrop (assuming we continue our annual deep playoff run). If he has success in what most consider the best front 7 in the state, he should no doubt get his 5-star status. It think Bastrop is too high powered for Leesville to win, but they should compete.
17 touches, 210 yards, and 2 TDs. Only played one series in the 2nd half because it is another blowout. Almost 1400 yards this season and he is not playing much of the 2nd half in all of his games so far.
Rivals.com is going to be updating their top 100 this coming week and we are being told that it will be to our liking. Look for Ford to bolt into the top 50 or so. Janzen Jackson should be close to the same. Faulk could have received his 5th star. Good stuff.
Another 218 yards tonite on 29 carries. 1838 yards on the year. Egad! A fifth star is coming his way.
Glad to hear he is doing well and hopefully he gets the respect he deserves after not being able to play last year.
