I have heard him compared to Cecil Collins. If he is that good and can stay out of prison he will be amazing.
In his latest update, Ford says that LSU is the team to beat. I saw him at the game vs VT and he looked to be enjoying himself. Sonny says that Ford will definitely be offered, but right now the coaching staff doesn't want to do anything to scare off Scott.
If Scott comes here, do you think Ford will still like us so much? Imagine if Scott and Keiland stay for their senior year- we would have them, Murphy, Darrell, and Ford in the backfield. SICK!
According to many people in town he doesn't really care who comes to LSU, he has always wanted to play for the Tigers. Which sounds good but anything can change. This week against the number 7 ranked team in the state Sam Houston, he rushed for 138 yrds on 18 carries and 1 TD.
...and according to the inside sources, we're dropping down Scott's list. That's too bad, but we had to think it was a longshot.
I think he wants to go to a place where he gets to be "The Man" from day one. I understand that, and it's a perfectly legitimate thing to want, but there's no way we can promise him even a chance at that. My guess is that he ends up at Colorado, where I suppose the chance is there.
not sure where these inside sources are coming from...I haven't read it on any board and I have access to a bunch of them. Jamie Newberg said yesterday that "LSU is the team to beat as of right now" (9/10/07).
I'm hearing about a freshman from Jennings who's supposed to be the next (insert name of great running back here). Know anything about that?
