Watched modern offenses pass Cholly Mac by in the late 70's and it seems like I am watching this movie all over again. I like Miles as much as I liked Cholly Mac both good men with the best of intentions but too stubborn or just dont or didn't realize their limitations. Great guys but the overall program is more important.
Watching the Les faithful is sort of like watching one of those murder shows on ID. They give you just enough reason to believe that its not the boyfriend or the neighbor but just like les, they always go down for the crime. You don't want em to be guilty but...
Change a lot to a few. There's a group of cliqueish regulars and everybody else. I guess that explains why I'm personna non grata.
Hey, now, Shane. @CalcoTiger had a great post. It makes sense reading that his dad was a coach. We coaches' kids probably look at football just a little bit differently than the average fan. Football was our lifestyle--everything revolved around it. I guess that's why I surprise myself a little these days when buying pointe shoes and puppies and going to see Duran Duran in Oklahoma on a Saturday night in the fall. Of course, now that my daughter's a sophomore, we're at a lot of Plano Senior High games in the fall--even have season tickets this year.
Your daughters HS has season tickets? Good lord, my HS had $2 student and $4 regular tickets, you just went and found your spot up in the bleachers.
He absolutely did, and he is a great guy and enjoy him hanging around. I'm still going to call it what it is, not mocking him or even saying he is wrong.
Yes, season tickets. There are old farts here in the city who have had them for 40 years or more. It will be my daughter's senior high school. She's currently in a 9/10 high school with 2000 students in it. Next year, in 11th grade, she'll be at PSHS with 4000 students. They split them up, so that the schools don't have 8000 kids on campus. But...the football games really draw a crowd.
