Considering we ARE facing a very good Dline and our Oline struggles, the play calling and QB play are really surprising. We are working with what we have in a very efficient way thus far.
We were young on D last year, extremely young. This year, we should have one of the best D's in the nation. We just need an average offense and solid special teams play. That's all. We don't have to be the Greatest Show on Turf, and we don't have to run back kicks every game. Just average O and solid Special Teams, and, if the D lives up to expectations, we can go far.
Miami is really helping us out but good teams take advantage of those opportunities and LSU has done that so far.
