Jacory Harris just tosses an interception right to the VT player.... passed right to him instead of trying to pass it to one of his own players. WTF? Did he bet big money on VT winning this game?

After 3 quarters, he is 7 of 18 (39%), 106 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, and 5.9 yards/attempt. Rushing stats, he has one lost fumble, negative 24 yards and a negative 6 YPC. Against Florida State he threw two interceptions.

Final score: VT 31, Mia 7.

Lesson on reality to all you people that bought into the Miami hype:

Yeah, you lived a period in your life where Miami was one of the most insanely dominate teams in football history, but that was then, this is now:

    2008 Miami -- 7-6 record (lost @ GT 21-41)

    2007 Miami -- 5-7 record (lost @ Oklahoma 13-51, lost at home to Virginia 0-48, lost @ VT 14-44)

    2006 Miami -- 7-6 record (lost @ Louisville 7-31)

You look around the rest of the ACC over the last few years, it even gets more embarrassing.

I picked Miami to win this game but in no way did I ever buy into the hype. I am also not buying the VT hype that will soon follow this victory.

Before the game, I didn't know what would happen, those ACC teams are all up-and-down and have been incredibly disappointing over the last few years. But had someone put a gun to my head and made me pick a winner, I would have picked Miami to pull it out against VT in a close one and I would have said Jacory Harris would not have a good game.

As for VT being hyped, I don't think that will happen. I've never seen it happen. VT is one of the most under-hyped teams I've ever seen. Probably because they have never won a National Title and they never do well in the recruiting rankings. But I think Frank Beamer is a great coach and that Bud Foster is a great DC... and I love it when the Saints get players from VT... like Pierson Prioleau.

Jacory Harris is still a youngster, i picked Miami in this game because i thought Tyrod Taylor would struggle throwing the ball and he didn't. If you can throw the ball, you will beat Miami. I still have them winning the ACC, in a rematch with VA Tech.

Oh yeah, now it's "Jacory Harris is still a youngster?" Before you were saying:

    Good call, hero.

Oh and I forgot to point this out:

Tyrod Taylor did struggle throwing the football. He was 4 of 9 (44%) for 99 yards in the game.

Being that you actually bought into the Jacory Harris hype, I'm not surprised that you didn't think Tryod Taylor struggled throwing the football today.

Any random 4th-grader throwing the football around to his friends would impress you.

So the guy has one bad game and he is hype huh? Did you watch any of the plays he made. I can also point out that Miami was driving early and his teammates dropped a bunch of balls that should have been caught. Do i think he is the real deal, yes i do. Tyrod Taylor had a few plays that burnt Miami in the passing game. He may have not had a good statistical day, but he made plays with his arm when it counted. 1 play went for 49 and a touchdown and one other receiver had 2 catches for 40 yards, and another had 1 for 10, thats an average of 25 yards per pass play.

Maybe you should watch the games instead of checking the box score when its over. Anyone who knows anything about football will tell you that Jacory Harris is a young kid who plays older than he is, which is what i have said earlier and will continue to say, based on what i see, the balls he throws, and his composure, not what the box score says. Its funny because alot of people who get paid lots of money to scout these kids and make analysis say the same exact thing, how much do you get paid for your message board analysis? Thats what i thought.

Goes to show you what rash judgment does. From 20 to 9, probably backed up to 15ish after the loss. Just silly.
