I've heard this before, but didn't they always have top 5 recruiting classes? Sounds more like he couldn't coach'em up, then them having poor recruits.
They did and he won the NC in 2008 with his own recruits so I don't get what people are saying. He had some dominant teams...well he had Tebow, Harvin and some freaks on D-line.
there was a blatant hold I didnt see til the replay. then a personal foul backed them up to the 25. they kicked a fg. OSU was still lucky to cover.
I believe that Meyer definitely left Florida in a lurch with a talent deficiency relative to the real powers of the SEC. And Muschamp is in way over his head. Meyer will be quite successful at Ohio State because they play a much easier schedule than the ones in the SEC. And he will be owned by the SEC when he plays them in bowl games.
No, but he also won't need them to win the Big 10. His problem will be trying to match-up with SEC talent in BCS games. Well, unless, he's fortunate enough to play Arkansas.
Seems like I read that Ohio St. is on par with other colleges for putting kids in the NFL- aren't they?
Irrelevant. I said that Meyer will not be able to recruit as well at OSU. Over the last 10 years Florida has an average recruiting ranking of #7 . . . Ohio State is #12.
