Watching the EA college football preview show on CBS, and Meyer said about the meeting at Death Valley this season "that place quiets up real quick if you put it to them early." People that are going to the Florida game this season need to start training in the car, in your home, when ever you get some alone time just start screaming, get those pipes ready to go, we need to make the whole state shake.

Tillman said he thinks LSU is the team to watch, and he seems to think Russell Sheppard is going to step it up big time.

the rest of the show is pretty much a Florida, and Alabama suck fest.

Never thought I'd say it, but I share Danielson's view of the SEC outcome. However, he didn't predict a winner for the SEC Champ game. I truly believe we take it to Fl and win. When we do (notice I didn't say IF), we're gonna play for the crystal. Man,,,,,,,I hate Tebow.

 

I've never liked Urban Meyer. Saban has never even come close; at least he has the class to congratulate the other team's coach after a loss. The few times I've seen Meyer in that position he storms off like a spoiled toddler. What an incredibly stupid thing to say. I can understand trash talk coming from college kids but Meyer knows better. Is he really that eager to piss off this team with that kind of locker room material before the season even starts? If so, by all means keep running your mouth and encourage your players to do the same.

 

his theory was:

LSU beats Florida
Alabama beats LSU

Bama loses to Florida in the title game.

1-loss LSU gets in to play 1-loss Florida, blowing up the BCS.

 

No way they put in a non-conference champ in the BCS title game after all the wailing and gnashing of teeth the last time it happened in '03, especially one that didn't even make it to the title game. The BCS pollsters weren't willing to rock the boat for UGA in '07 so I don't see it happening in that scenario either. The Red River winner has a better shot at making it in that situation, and we get stuck playing Notre Dame in New Orleans, again.

 

I watched the show too and all I can say is wow:rolleye33:, what a really good way too anger a hungry team even more.That coach should have never said that on his interview that's just a little too cocky and immature of him to say.:dis:
