Will Jefferson still be under center or will Mett win the starting role...

Frankly I just want something different, I am SO sick of watching our QB play. I dont care if Mett is average at best. Just a different look.

Knowing Miles and I am a Miles fan. You wont know until the Oregon game and he will defend Jefferson (As he should) all Spring saying all the things that will get the ire of the LSU fan up.
Because I will say it now. there isnt a fan of LSU who's last name ISNT Jefferson or Lee that doesnt want Mett NOT to start next year. Even if he isnt the next Ryan Mallet.

I know there is a lot of speculation as to whether Miles will start Zack or not, given that Jefferson and Lee will both be veterans on the team. I am of the opinion that, if he doesn’t start, he will be by week 4-5. If he doesn’t beat out Jefferson and Lee for the starting job thru the spring and fall camps, he will take the job by week 4-5, having gotten significant playing time, proving in game situations that he is superior to either of them. I just don’t think Miles would have been so high on the kid, and pulled out all stops to get him if his intentions weren’t to have the kid take over the team. The negative is I don’t see Jefferson being benched permanently. Even if Zack does become the starter I think there will be plays designed for Jefferson to come in and split time.

 

Send Lee to FCS and convert Jefferson to WR.
