So you are thinking: 2011 = JJ (Rivers Red Shirts) 2012 = ZM 2013 = ZM 2014 = SR 2015 = SR That sounds like a pretty solid line up for 5 years...
I see him getting some playing time if Jefferson and/or Lee struggle to throw the football. I guess we'll start to see in spring practice.
I believe Mett has 3 years to play 3 wouldnt be surprised if Lee doesnt see the field next year...or transfers
Correct LSU will waste a prime opportunity in 2011 with JJ at QB of winning a national championship however.
I certainly understand the intent, however I'm not sure if the lunacy of that statement can be accurately measured.
I've been rocking nervously back and forth for a couple hours and I've finally decided that I'm just gonna let 'er rip. We may be getting a new OC, why ruin the opportunity to get excited with worry? We could very well have a bang up season next year on the way to the NC. :insane: bipolar
I hope you are mistaken. Should be an open competition. JJs running has greatly improved but I need to see more to be convinced he can be an above average passer or has good field vision. JJ has improved and can get the job done. Maybe he'll improve more over the offseason. But I'd think whoever is the best passer should get the job all other things being equal.
Why? He had a few memorable drives for scores that saved the season for the Tigers. From what I saw, JL was NOT getting enough playing time the last few games. From that I can only deduce he's not looking as good in practice, otherwise its hard to justify the lack of minutes.
