Oh I agree with you, I think he is happy, and it goes both ways, last year there were games where if he had played better we would have won, Florida and Clemson both come to mind. I just hate it for the guy because his dream was win a game between the hedges, and unfortunately his dream will never come to pass.
Don't worry... Mett's a Tiger and hes got a lot of new dreams... > Beat the Bulldogs > Beat the Gators > Beat the Rebels > Beat the Paladins > Beat the Tide > Beat the Aggies > Beat the Razerbacks > Get his mom another week off the first week of December.
You forgot the final one > Visit the beautiful city of Pasadena and bring home a fucking Crystal trophy
I don't think that's true; he just wants to compete and win. Where doesn't matter. That whole "Mett goes back to beat the team who dismissed him" angle was purely a creation of the press. Zach truly left that all behind him years ago. He just wanted to win another SEC game. LSU played a GREAT game against a Georgia team that was playing out of its head. They almost won it. Everything is still on the table.
See in my opinion it had nothing to do with the team that dismissed him and more to do with the stadium he grew up in.
Pasadena is pretty far-fetched, with all the teams that will be undefeated this year. Sugar Bowl may be the highest we can shoot for. And that's okay.
Year after year, we say that, and year after year, the seemingly impossible losses occur. We'll have to see how it all plays out.
