That's terrific. That does not happen very often for a QB in a loss. Congrats, Mett! He deserves it.
Dude deserves it, feel bad for him though, because in both of his finest hours as a college QB, LSU's defense hasn't had his back, and it's pretty sad.
I suspect that Mett is actually quite happy at LSU. You can see it in his demeanor. He's no longer a cocky kid doing the talk and wondering if he really has it in him, but now a mature young man, humble, hard-working, appreciative of the opportunities he has, and thankful for what his efforts are bringing forth.
The thing people need to know is that the NFL teams know that he's Pro coach able, nothing worse than drafting a QB only to find he has no business in the NFL. Look at the transformation that has been done in this short time with him under Cam
Cam's the best thing that ever happened to that kid. He'll have another chance to put up video-game numbers against aTm. IF the D steps up enough to hold them to one point less than us, it might be his own personal "Heisman Moment", even if he's not in the running.
