I doubt we see much of Shep at RB. Don't forget Mr. Blue... We forgot about him after his injury but he is still turning heads.
That goes for all of our WRs over the last 2 years but I see Shep as a player who needs confidence to have success. Hard to build confidence when the ball does come your way a majority of the season. This year we have to get him the ball often to open up Randle. I think Shep breaks out this year.
BhelmLSU, lets just say that Mettenberger beats out Jefferson, for the starting QB position, does that mean that Jefferson sit's on the bench, his Sr. year? If Ware is going to run the Wild Tiger, just use it as we always did in the game, very little.
In that scenario JJ would still come in for a change of pace QB. I don't see Mett winning the job before the 1st game. If e ever starts next year it will be because JJ flops on the field IMO. The way I see it and Miles has even alluded to it is that it is really between Lee and Mett for playing time. JJ will get his time in one way or another.
Well, that is depressing. So there is no quarterback competition at all this spring? I just added two losses to my prediction for next year.
Competition is there but Mett has a long way to go to earn a starting spot. He is not going to be handed anything, thankfully. What I am saying is that Lee and Mett have the similar roles in the offense and Mett will need to beat out Lee 1st to get in the mix. JJ is going to get his time given the different style from Lee and Mett.
