Zach Mettenberger is as good as advertised. Mettenberger look to be a full inch taller than Jordan Jefferson and he tips the scale at 250 compared to 220 for Jefferson. Mettenberger has a cannon for an arm and hit Russell Shepard in the middle of the chest on a 15-yard slant pass route that knocked Shepard to the ground. Shepard will probably have a bruised chest for a few days. Mettenberger has a great future at LSU the next three years. Dandy Don's observation of mett during spring practice

I think Mettenberger is the real deal, I just hope Coach Miles will let him be the starter and Let Jefferson run the Wild Tiger. Don't have a 2 QB system, but play Jefferson a lot tho. If you know what I mean.
Others at practice said Mett is closer to 230 right now. He is picking up the offense very fast and has great footwork. Working on his accuracy right now and the WRs are still getting used to his style based on reports. Been some balls behind the WRs and WRs having trouble catching his passes. That is expected this early. Very strong on the fade routes.
BHelm, how does Hilliard look? DD says he looks "great", but almost every Tiger looks like an All American in his eyes.

I don't know what you mean. If one starts and the other plays a lot, that's pretty much a 2 QB system.
