The difference with Mett is he gives us a vertical game that we have not had since RP. Whether we use it or not the defense is going to have to respect that ability.
Really? More of that same negative bs from you huh? Why don't you just head over to TD where that shit would be appreciated.
I don't know, I think it's a valid point. I mean what if he does come in and lights the SEC up? I know there is nothing we can do about the past, the flux capacitor hasn't been invented yet, nor has the mr. fusion I don't think, but it's going to raise questions, that's for sure.
Im good right here thanks. I prefer this site above any other when it comes to LSU football. Its an opinion, all be it, the total opposite side of the spectrum of yours, but its an opinion. Also, I had said before that the doof would cost the team a very important game because of his decision making. Well I have to say, that the last one was probably a good example of what I thought. Lastly, I think the Mett question was legitimate. Are we to think that Mett was no where near ready by the championship game?
Mett probably was not ready, especially to face bama's of all defenses to face, with very limited snaps through the season.
He may not have been but the other guy damn sure wasn't either. I think that's the thing that keeps the bad taste in the mouths of LSU fans, if you keep ramming your head into a brick wall and you aren't even making a chip in the bricks, you would think that maybe you would try another tool, other than your head.
If Jefferson wasnt doing it, and either you didnt have the faith in Lee, or there was some other reason for not trying Lee, Mett would have at least gotten experience in a big game, and maybe it would have taken the Bama defense by surprise. The secondary needed to be tested. Cause the front seven was locking s#!t down. Instead of doing something different, the game is given to Bama early in the third quarter. Sorry but for me that is hard to forget about.
I heard Mett was the one who took Jarrett Lee's picture on that hunting trip last year...that's why he was in the Doggie house.
Well then THAT is a terribly stupid assessment on your part, pal. There is nothing to indicate that whatever Mett we see this year would have been the same Mett that we might have seen LAST year. He's a year older, a year more mature, and had another year of coaching. This is a very simple logical concept, and I should not have to explain it to you. But you seem to prefer emotion over logic, so I'll leave you to it.
