    Something I read concerning playing a double header in NY if necessary:

    "That leaves no room for rainouts in New York this weekend. The Mets, for instance, have used up their allotment of two day-night doubleheaders this season and would have to seek permission from the Players Association to play another."

    WTF? Are they gonna turn it down?

    Guess we'll have to wait at least another year before Martin ends his self imposed exile or sabbatical or whatever he's calling it these days.
