Ok, looks like this week it is JJ thrown under the bus. Guess that will give Les a week to get the bus tracks off his back from game 1. I'm not saying JJ is NOT the problem (I'd like to see a 2QB system). Thats not the point. What kills me are the people calling for Lee now. I'm sorely tempted to go back 2 years and pull up some of the threads where people were calling Lee all kinds of names, saying he should transfer and just jumping all over the young kid. You know who you are. Not talking about those who critiqued Lee's performance back then (who didnt), but the NAME CALLERS. Fair criticism good. Name calling bad. My 2 cents.
I must've missed the "name calling". I admit to considering a QB change based on JJ's horrible performance. Where's the name calling?
On the game thread and related threads, JJ was referred to as a "retard," "half wit," and I think I recall some others. It's fine to criticize, and it can be done without the name calling. :geauxtige
yep. the kid had a bad night. absolutely no doubt about it, and no one will argue that. and critiquing the plays and his performance is fine. but my guess is no one feels worse than jj about it. the kid was out there at least trying, even if he didnt succeed. calling a kid retard, etc, is just trash. pure trash.
They call me Gump, Bammer, troll, and much more. Not only can I verify this, but in some cases, have pictures. What everyone really mean is we are brothers from a different mother, SEC kindred and in the bigger picture, fellow travelers of the universe. How did I get there from here? I try to imagine this "new" fan forum, say a year or so from now, evolving and morphing into what we all really want it to be. I can see glimpses of crimson manifesting itself, not only on the banner, control panel, and a nice scripted A where we sign in, but in the collective conscience. We can only hope all these athletics have such a vision.
