    The LSU men's golf team has made it to the semi finals of the NCAA Tournament by finishing 7th in the stroke play portion of the tournament. The top 8 teams advanced. The team will play Vanderbilt who fiinished 2nd in match play today. Geaux Tigers!

    Won 3 1/2 to 1 1/2. Will face either Illinois or So Cal in the finals.

    I was kind of shocked that USC had never won the NCAA men's golf championship! I believe the women have won at least a couple, have they not?

    Hello....it's an LSU v USC match-up.

    Never won a team title. Stan Wood (funny) was there for 24 years, from 55-79 and his record was 462-37 (.926) and we had 14 conference titles in that period, but no NC's. We did have an NCAA record of 51 consecutive dual match wins during that time. We finished 3rd 6 times but never the title. There are a few individual winners including Scott Simpson and Jamie Lovemark.

    The women have 3. Made it to the semis this year, ranked #1, but lost to Stanford.
