Best win of the year!!! Maybe it just seems that way because each win seems to be better than the one before... Great Performance by a team that has been unappreciated all year by the national media.. :geaux:
I roared so loud during those clutch plays that got LSU back in it at the very end that my brother was worried about my neighbors!!!! Since then, I have been in a state of absolute shock!!! 4-4.5 underdog LSU pulls of an unbelievable come back to beat KENTUCKY at KENTUCKY on NATIONAL TV in AMAZING fashion!!!!!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!! WHAT A HUGE VICTORY FOR RECRUITING!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! It's party-time in Tiger Nation today, baby!!!!!!
Give credit to Martin for doing a good job on Meeks when Temple was out. Meeks is going to get his points, like Thornton. Martin got a block on him once and did not make most of his shots come easy.
Temple was doing awesome guarding Meeks in the 1st half but when Temple went out with foul trouble and Martin came in, it didn't drop off either. When Temple came back at the end of the game he couldn't keep up with Meeks though and Martin switching back to him was a great move.

Give Coach credit for putting Martin in the doghouse early in the season until he got his head on straight. Credit to Martin for sucking it up and accepting his role on this team. Now we are reaping the benefits. Coach Johnson - Coach of the Year. No need for a vote, really.
Good call, credit goes to both of them. South Carolina at Vandy at 8 on ESPNU might be a good game. I'm going to pay attention to Vandy's 6-11 center, number 4 Ogilvy. Our game on Wednesday against Vandy might good a test for how far we have come on defense on handling a solid center.
Vandy doesn't have the most impressive record, but they have beaten Kentucky at home, so they're not slouches. This is not the time to start underestimating opponents.
I loved seeing Storm Warren play so well. He had a key block down the stretch. All around ballsy play by everyone who was on the floor in that 2nd half. Down 10 at Rupp with 9 to play and they nutted up and got it done. I love the look of this team. Here's to a great March.
