I don't know. They said he injured himself (ankle, I think) in the McNeese game but I never saw him get hurt. Brady said he's going to take him to see a specialist when they get back to the mainland. They aren't sure exactly what it is, though. He played a little yesterday but couldn't go any more.
They have one of the best in the world in Gayle Hatch. A few of the players are working out with him and Chris Johnson has gained over 20 pounds in the off season. He still has a way to go. He looks stronger at times but others not so much. 2 of my friends from HS who work with Hatch also help with the conditioning.
Is this coach a conditioning coach only or strength and conditioning coach??? They dont have either listed as a basketball position on the website and during the game the announcers mentioned that LSU didnt have a strength coach like it was well known and obvious...dunno
He is an Olympic Weightlifting Coach. He is not officailly an LSU coach but most of the players go to him to workout. This is the 1st year under Hatch. There have been many articles about this and he was interviewed at halftime a few games back on Cox Sports. He is strictly a strength coach and he recently signed a contract with Valley's Fitness on Bluebonnet. My friends work with some of the players on conditioning along side Hatch.
