Missed making a game thread last night and it nearly cost us. Gonna have to step it up. Not much to say about WKU. They have one guy in A.J. Slaughter who had 30 points last night. And unfortunately for the Hilltoppers, their best weapon will not be in the building... Those eyes...They just stare right into your soul...
This might be a tough game. The Hilltoppers beat Illinois in the first round of the NCAA tourney last year. They then lost to #10 Gonzaga by two points. LSU has a big advantage in the frontcourt (not sure how many more times I can say that this season). So, if we can get them to miss, we ought to have a lot of success on the boards again. LSU wins this one by 3.
i think lsu handles them. they dont play strong D. tas, bo and storm will all score. lsu's D will keep them down, but they do have a guy that can score. id guess bo will be on him (slaughter) mostly. keep him from getting 30 and lsu wins by >5
that's what's up, podd! :thumb: WKU won't play defense even nearly as well as ISU did last night. because of this, LSU will be able to score a lot easier which will result in mitchell with a double-double, finally, and bo spencer with a few threes. anyone see the starting line-up? interested to see if harris is starting over green tonight.
nope. need geaux zone subscription. and my reception of 100.7 is hit-or-miss so i'm out of luck myself. otherwise i'd be keeping you guys updated. :bncry:
30-29 Halftime W. Kentucky Kerusch has 19 of their points. They hit a 3 at the buzzer to take the lead.
