Indeed. Would've liked to see this one. But, I imagine the team played inspired b/c of the close loss to Xavier. Definitely the RPI game we needed, and this should really help come NCAA committee time. I think back to that season where the tigers really had a tough non-conference season, was like 8-8 at start of SEC play, and then ran the tables in the SEC and went like 12-4, and then went far in the tourneys. This is a slightly different year due to the softer non-C schedule, but generally a team that wins a good majority of their games in the SEC has a chance. It also reminds me of those years where the Tigers really spent much of the season "finding themselves" and a rhythm and then made a charge in their last 10 games. This team is finally building that confidence, understanding how to play well consistently, and now, believing in themselves to face stiffer competition and pull out the W. Great job, Tigers.
was kinda the joke. its good to see trent johnson at least winning with john brady's talent. though we'll see in 3 more years what kind of coach he truly is.
great win. hopefully ut doesnt completely go in the tank and take the feather out of our cap marcus thornton is now the favorite for poy (only in the lowly SEC, of course)
My bad! I don't mind laughing at myself! Wow, Tirk! TJ has a track record, all we have to do is look at what he was able to achieve at Stanford. Some how I think we will have better depth in the future. I hope you aren't pullin my leg again? Mind games?:rolleye33: Anyway, aren't Shaq's kids almost old enough to play @ LSU? I'm hoping that day will come! What a riot that would be! We have a few more years but hey, time flies by pretty fast. In about 10 years we could have Shaq Jr. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,1189823,00.html "The couple already have three children together, sons Shareef, 6, and Shaqir, 3, and daughter Amirah, 4.
