Updated... MSU 13-6 (3-1) LSU 15-3 (3-1) MSU 2-1 (road) LSU 14-0 (home) Wow!...I was hopeful for this season but really didn't expect this. .500 from here on should secure a NCAA bid. Nice! :thumb:
WOW. What a game. One of the best games i have ever been to at the PMAC. It was rocking. Student section stayed loud the whole game. Miss. St. was really getting rattled. Plus my halftime performance!! Me, Stick and Stephen won $675. Free Nachos and Coke when we walked in. Caught another t-shirt from the cheerleaders. Won $225 at halftime, along with my 5 min. of fame on the court. Tigers spanked that ass. LSU takes over first place in the West. Did a couple post game interviews with Cap One about the contest. Free Cane's after the game for scoring over 75 points. What a Great night!
wow, that is an epic night. that's about enough to make you want to go to another basketball game. last semester Joe Alleva told us his biggest wish was to get people to come out to see the basketball team more often. sounds like he may be succeeding in bringing the magic to the PMAC. good work :thumb:
anyone else kinda annoyed at Alleva's comments from a few weeks ago. This has the making a a pretty decent team but LSU is not really doing anything to drum up interest. I can't get to many games but i would like the opportunity to watch them on TV. You don't think LSU could use its influence to even get the games on Cox Sports network, or one of the other myriad of channel the Cox BR has available.
high praise from stansberry http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=27826&SPID=2166&ATCLID=3651677&DB_OEM_ID=5200 "MISSISSIPPI STATE HEAD COACH RICK STANSBURY They’re very god." he didnt capitalize it or anything, but, still, thats tough to beat.
I'm beginning to think that this Johnson fellow may be a better coach than that last guy we had. What was his name again? :hihi:
I'd probably say that only 2 sections were more than half empty and it is the ones on the east and west corners. This was an important game for LSU to do well in - I remember what happened to attendance after LSU laid an egg at a sellout against Auburn in 2004. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=27828&SPID=2166&DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=164938 I swear to you, why the SEC cannot hire competent officiating crews is beyond me.
