that clutch play where he drives the lane then fades away and elevates. and they are both black and play basketball.
LOL, that was about the only conclusion I could come up with. I don't look for Garrett to do anything at the next level if he gets the chance though. But man, USL definitely came close to an amazing upset. It almost had the feeling of a March game, and it's not just the weater outside either.
Did LSU recruit Daigle? If not, I'll bet he was looking to stick it to us... He made a couple of sick treys there at the end... :tigereye:
I don't think so, but they (i.e., Brady bunch) did go after Chris Grandingo (sp?), who burned us for 16. But, as was said before, a win has to be appreciated. When you look at the number of players on this team who are athletic and can play, and hadn't up to this point (they've had essentially like 9 players rotating this early part of the year, who all came back for this game), you have to understand it was a tough game for LSU to play after an emotional win against WSU. In any case, you have to have games like this where different players set the tone. In this game, it's Tas' with 25 and Bo Spencer with 20. Chris Johnson with 13 boards is also kind of encouraging. But, if you read CTJ's post game comments, he's ticked off the Tigers gave up 48 in the second half. He's going to have things to talk about in practice. Also, for others following the hoops scene. Utah beat Gonzaga tonight by one. Helps LSU's RPI for sure. Things get very interesting very quickly boys. :geauxtige
