His LSU teams won't have any quit in them. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can salvage from SEC play and can't wait to see what he'll do once his recruits come in. Seasons like this are the stuff future championship teams are forged from.

Maybe I am wanting too much. I'd like to see a team that is competitive and can make Final Four runs like we've seen this past decade. Hopefully his recruits can do as well as this past decades recruits did.

Also, I am starting his abilities to develop players. Only a season and some change to judge him on, but there is some regression thus far in play of certain players.

i agree. i'm still disappointed by the class brought in this season, however. we need a very, very special class this upcoming season, IMO. we need to perhaps look into JUCO and/or overseas. doing so goes against what CTJ stands for, but we need the immediate help next season -- especially since tas will be in the NBA.

i would like to see CTJ get more players that will need to contribute next season in the game right now. i think for the most part he's doing a great job of that. i like the hustle of kids like green, kinsley, harris, dotson and ludwig. not to mention bo, warren and chris bass.

also lost in this equation is the fact of just how valuable garrett temple was on defense while he was here.

We're still largely living with the consequences of Brady's "grab one or two one-and-dones and just leave warm bodies on the bench" approach to recruiting. I'd love to see the coach who can take a team that thin on talent and make it to the postseason, particularly with Farrer done for the year before the damn season even starts.

i agree that one-and-dones have hurt this program, but i think we need to try for one next season to supplement what we already have. we have no one who will be able to effectively step-up into that power forward position with storm.

edit - forgot about ole miss transfer malcolm white. anyone know why he transferred from ole miss? i know he's a baton rouge product, but he seemed to be getting good PT at ole miss.

Absolutely, he was always dependable on the defensive end.

Wow, I knew we were playing some guys hurt, but I had no idea things were that bad. Hopefully I'll make a good number of games this season, but grad school is definitely gonna put a damper on that.
