Wow, tremendous win for the Tigers, congratulations to the team and CTJ. Now someone point me to Raycom's HQ so I can personally tear these people a new one for showing UT vs GA while I was reduced to staring at ESPN scoreboard updates on a freakin 2OT nailbiter.
now that everyone needs a drink.... wow. what a game. thanks for the link, pod. much appreciated as always!:thumb:
DUDE! What a game. And who says college basketball is not exciting. Wow, wish this was on TV. Just got to pile on and say way to geaux CTJ, staff and the boyz. To see the 2nd overtime played heavily with the likes of Bass, Warren and Farrer will pay huge dividends down the road. Wow. Wow. A comfortable lead in the SEC West, and another quality road win. It'll be interesting to see how this one moves us up in the RPI. Miss St was our main competition for the NCAA bid from the West. Hugely important game. And, I'm going to ignore Tirk's last comment.... :yelwink2:
Hopefully not too bad. LSU is beat down right now, however. These guys have been playing with injuries for at least the last few games, I believe. I couldn't be more proud of this team. That was just selfless determination to win a game. Wow. Anyone doubting the Tigers after this win is just a heartless, ignorant individual, IMO. :tigereye:
I will make sure I watch all three news channels for the sports highlights here in Jackson, MS tonight as it is the only LSU coverage I get here locally. GOOD GOD they really hate us now, GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!
WOW!!!!! amazing what a well coached team can do. This team is playing with heart, determination, and confidence. What an exhausting win. Great job Tigers. Thanx CTJ and The Tigers.
This is one of those season-defining moments... It's not unfathomable to believe if we lose, it turns into a 3 or 4 game skid. It was just one of those games. Sure the SEC may be down as a whole but we are on the fast track to a day off for the SEC tourney, let alone a top seed. Let's keep the momentum (Uncle Mo) going....
"I want to give LSU and Trent Johnson a lot of credit, because they showed why they were the best team in the league and that is what they are," Mississippi State Coach Rick Stansbury said. http://blog.nola.com/lsusports/2009/02/in_double_ot_lsu_tigers_win_20.html
