I have been pulling for Memphis this year, since our Tigers are blowing. Always like Calipari's style... anyway... good for Tennessee.
Baton Rouge boy here, who had attended Memphis, when Pop couldn't spring for out of state tuition after being transferred here. So anyway, I am pretty low right now. Memphis played horribly and still only lost by basically one possesion. UT just has Memphis' number. I see a lot of parallels between this basketball team and my LSU Tiger football team. Not playing to potential Senior named Dorsey playing to level of competition only team that can beat them is themselves I think the result will be the same!
Cheer up Blue Dog. The polls right now mean very little to the top 20. All of you will go to the big dance. It's the winner there that means something. The only thing a loss does here is spoil an undefeated season, not your chances.
Vandy just might upset the Vols on Tuesday night. Can't wait for the game, I have tickets behind the Tennessee bench. It will be one loud game in Memorial Gym. Vandy upset #1 Florida last year at Vandy. ESPN gets another big game in Tennessee.
