    I posted somewhere that if the voters take into consideration Mathieu's suspension for smoking illegal drugs....ALL the other candidates should be tested like Mathieu was.

    it obviously didnt matter that cam newton was a part of an ncaa investigation and he won it...it is who they want and thats it....popularity contest

    Cam Newton was undoubtebly THE BEST. They put Cannon in the College Football HOF even though he made more dough than the downtown bakery.

    Exactly the point. Awards are given for performance on the field, as they should be.

    If the Heisman voters don't want to give it to Mathieu, fine and good. But make the argument that the person receiving the honor is more deserving, and don't invoke a laughable morality clause as the reason you don't give it to someone else, particularly in light of recent history with past winners.
