How more people don't see Herman as a legitimate option is mind blowing. People would consider Mullins and Holgerson before him? Just plain phuking crazy!

Personally I wouldn't want any of those gimmick offensive coaches. I like the pro style offense. I just want to see it run right.

I agree, but he should be on the short list about 50 spots ahead of Mullen. If it ain't Jimbo I haven't heard another candidate being seriously considered that would be much better than Dinardo.

I agree with the first half, but there are other candidates being mentioned - you're just not content with them either, LOL. You keep asking who else besides Jimbo do people think we should consider/go after. In addition to Herman, I've seen people mention Fuentes, Kelly, Briles, Patterson, Smart, and I've said Strong. I agree, I would not consider Mullen, or Kelly, personally. My top 3 would be Fisher, Strong, and Herman. I would put proven success at a top level school, and ties to SEC, above an up and coming offensive mind, personally. Fisher and Smart both fit those criteria in my mind.

    I
I'm trying to limit my discussion to coaching candidates that we actually have at least a slim chance of signing. Others you correct I have dismissed, because I feel they would be very bad hires.

Well to be fair then none of the new guys should be discussed. Only retreads bc that's what we are going after regardless.

I think if Jimbo falls through he'll have to open it up. If the masses start hearing Mullen or Holgerson as next on the list Alleva will need secret service protection.

I sure hope neither one of them would be serious second tier candidates.
