With the competitive balance of the SEC, lots of factors (some controllable, some not-so-much) need to fall your way in order to finish on top. One or two things fail to go your way and you're looking at a 3rd/4th place finish vs. a 1st/2nd. I want to see the Tigers win, but equally important is I want to see them play well. There is not a clear talent gap amongst the top teams, so we will have to have some breaks go our way in the important games (Bama, Ark, Aub, FL). Granted, good/great teams make a lot of their breaks, but as we have seen in years past there are factors outside of our control that can impact the outcome of a game. I like others being the "hunted". This year, let's walk softly and carry the big stick. I truly believe that we will surprise some this year with our play.....and hopefully, our record. :geaux:
Miles hasn't finished worse than 3rd. I'd be willing to bet(if I had money :rolleye33, that we aren't 4th or worse.
Good they didn't pick us to finish 6th or 1st, whooo I thought something was really wrong. Picking us to be 4th in the division only shows they have no clue what to expect from us.
oh no it's the end of the world the media knows what they are talking about forget the season it's all over!!!!
We're working towards making real quality adjustments so that our team can focus on those things that will lead it to the championship. - Les Miles (actual media days quote) dude does that sum it up or what. Where u at Swerved.
