Possibly, but I think on Rivals home page they stated this could be the year S. Car would win the East. Really, how many times have heard that before?

You got to figure fourth in the west will probably be no better than 4-4 in the division or worse.

    So for discussion sake.
What happens if LSU DOES finish 4th in the west.......

    Interested in everyones thoughts here.
Is it he swan song for Miles - If so what happens to the recruiting for next year, when several high profile recruits said they are going to LSU because of Les....

I think we are missing one major thing. I read somewhere (If it is untrue please correct) that we have only 10 scholarship SRs on the team.
If so could it be we are only a year or two away ?

Do we write a 4th place finish and the last two as a 3 blip. Can we look at other programs and see the natural eb and flow of success (Miami, Bama, Nebraska, OU, etc) and realize we are in the same lull and LSU will return if we just stick together.

    Interesting

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The first is never get involved in a land war in Asia, but only slightly less famous is this: Never pick South Carolina to win the SEC East.
