Completely agree. Up here on the sports radio station, the host was railing on about how he didnt care about the first game on Nov 5th, and that he wouldn't watch the rematch. Que his producer, who then said "why were you running into the other room every 5 minutes, then coming back and telling us the score?" . A lot of people are going to watch this game.
Totally understandable. I have been warning about how folks outside the region would feel about this. I don't have a problem with it and I know it isn't directed at us. That said, ESPN has no place at all to complain about any of this. They helped ensure that this would happen. The ESPN/ABC complex lobbied hard for this game, as did CBS. Scroo them if they want to whine about it now. How stupid do they think we are. F them.
Leave the SEC for awhile. It's not BS at all. A lot of people will not be watching the game. The game will be extremely highly rated throughout the SE, especially in AL, LA and MS, maybe TN, FL, GA, as well. But you get to other parts of the country, I say no. Weak ratings on the way.
Maybe you ought to bring a kicker with you. Seemed like you needed one in the worst kind of way last time.
