I could cite a thousand examples and there would still be millions of poor people. There always have been and always will be. The question is "Are you one of them?" Or do you have a decent job? Does your family have food on the table. Wear decent clothes? Have adequate housing? Do you and your wife drive decent cars? Do you have money for weed every week? If the answer is yes you need to stop bitching about all the poor downtrodden masses and get on with your life.

I don't believe you really give a shit about the millions of poor. In our culture its easier to feel for an individual or small group than it is to feel anything about millions. 60,000 die in an earthquake in China. 150,000 perish in a tsunami. Sad but do any of us really feel anything other than "Thats too bad. I'll send a few bucks to the Red Cross." But if you hear about the plight of one person who has some tragedy happen or who is wronged in some way we feel their pain and can feel some emotion fr them.

The best way to help poor folks is to not be one of them. If I am mistaken and you really are one of those po folks then you need to get up off your ass and do something about it. If you can't find a better job then start a business or invent something. Here, I'll give you an idea: Why don't you invent an edible bong? You would sell millions of them. Call it the Munchie Bong or the Toke and Chew.

I'm not bitching for the poor, the rich and the poor are subsidized, the middle class isn't. I'm bitching for the middle class who will eventually be poor.

I never drank any but I can imagine. That would be one of the problems that somebody who wanted to sell edible bongs would have to solve. Maybe some kind of liner. Then you could use the water to make potent brownies or something.

Cost of livin' gets so high
Rich and poor they start they start to cry
Now the weak must get strong
They say "Oh, what a tribulation"
Them belly full but we hungry
A hungry mob is an angry mob

I never called you out because you smoke weed. Do you think you're the only person on TF who smokes weed? You just make such a big deal about it.

I know I'm not the only one. 10000000000000000000000 percent sure.

    I'm also a dreamer....

But I'm not the only one...

Anyone read the millionaire next door?

The book is based on real data and states that most millionaires are 1st generation and that they did not receive help from their parents. At least, not the silver spoon many suspect.

Interesting enough, there is also evidence that most millionaires are small business owners who own "everyday" type businesses.

A million bucks ain't what is used to be. It is well within reach of middle class people with good jobs and smart investments.
