One of the Soviet leaders once said something along the lines of, America would never accept socialism. It would however, become socialist by accepting parts of the socialist platform a piece at a time. This describes Clinton; maybe not a socialist, but believed in that one socialist plank. Maybe he believed in more, but the one thing he was not was a leader. He was a wet-your-finger-and-see-which-way-the-wind-is-blowing type. Reread what I wrote earlier; he did not become a centrist, he moved to the center. And why? Because the CWA election told him that's where the country was going.
There was only ONE compromise ... it is called the Constitution. No more compromise is needed. Further compromise means the original compromise that was agreed upon is being disregarded, and if that is happening, then the new compromise is benefiting one group over another.
But none of his lying and thieving made into policy. So your beef with him is personal and has nothing to do with his Presidency.
To be honest ... I wasn't totally against Bill Clinton!! For the most part. he was a pretty effective president. My only beef with him was his liberal policy directed towards housing, and the banking stuff he signed into law that opened up the subprime market. But compared to Obama and Biden, ... I'd take a Clinton in a heart beat.
WTF are you saying. Yes the constitution was and is a great compromise. It was established as a means to to govern through compromise. Without compromise the society isn’t healthy but collapses under the weight of discord.
yep, pretty much,.. and that's what i've been telling you guys for years he did lie about what got into his budget and tax plan tho
so Trump broke his promise, let the tax loophole remain in his tax plan without discussion and has been pocketing money from that loophole himself ever since if trump had of spoke up and said "look what they're trying to pull"... I would have very much respected that, but he didn't say a fucking word,.. instead he jumped into the swamp with both feet
