Definitely was a warrior with a cannon for an arm, just too inconsistent. if he gets in it will on the third ballot or so. But he may be worthy.
hes not sniffing the hall but hes a player fans and players respect. he played hurt constantly, never complained, never cried to the media and was a leader. the game could use more players like him. he was however, underrated bc he didnt draw attention to himself like many. you know, like mr favre, holding his team hostage every offseason. i bet aaron rodgers' parents have brett favre dolls with pins in em. each year they are sure their son is starting then mr wrangler returns.
To be in the hall, you have to have been in the discussion to be the best at your position at some time in your career. And McNair was in his prime a really, really good QB, but never the best. so no. although he was no doubt a guy I would have loved to have on my team.
