I know I know. I appreciate your optimism, but you're not even a little concerned about the things surrounding this program negatively impacting our season?
Players only meetings are mostly things that don't concern the coach at all... Some things take another player saying and not just the coach... For instance, the coach can scream until he's blue in the face about catching the damn ball but players hearing that from their peers has more impact... Believe it or not, there's more self policing on teams than most know or hear about and will never hear about, so long as it doesn't turn into extreme hazing... I see this as a positive... that they care enough about what's going on to know that the things they see that are going unsaid need to be out in the open amongst the team... Anybody harboring any hard feelings, say that shit in the meeting and let's get it out so that we don't take that shit into the season... Sometimes it has nothing to do with football... I remember one time these two guys clearly had issues with each other and it was affecting their play... We finally got the team together and found out that one had slept with the others girl... We got in a circle and they boxed it out... Done... Hopefully this is some shit they needed to say before the season starts and it's over... Geaux
No I am not. Bama went through a couple of years where kids were kicked off the team for criminality happens sometimes it's happening to us now so what. We deal with it like Bama did and move on. We lost 1 LB but we are deep there. We lost 1 OL but we are deep there. Fulton was a long shot but we will have him next year. The QB transfer were inevitable can't keep 4 QB's who all think they should start. We are stronger at QB than most think.

Not angry at all. It always amuses me when people give opinions with the authority of Moses on Mt. Sinai. Although the offense of last year can definitely be criticized, it was not a three yards and a cloud of dust offense. It was an offense designed to be successful within the limitations of our quarterback and the talents of our running backs. Etling was no Mayfield and the offense was designed accordingly.
Let the season play out tigerbait. This is only O's 2 year and the season hasnt started yet. He also has not had the time to stock the team with HIS recruits. Last year was his first full class and he is putting together a great 2019 class so far. He deserves to be judged as all new head coaches are judged which is what HIS teams do with HIS recruits. His record at LSU is 15-6 with other coaches players and a lot of attrition because of the coaching change. Relax enjoy the season this will all play out.
Year 2? Yet he's Coached 21 games? Long season... His stocking of the team so far, was the worst recruiting class in 16 seasons. HIS 3 star players, he lost 6 of the Top recruits to Bama. The ones Starting are mostly 4 Star players left from the Golden Age, plus Transfers. The attrition is the 14 Player drafted into the NFL, which he used to lose to Auburn & Bama with in his interim position. We only had 7 NFL players drafted this year, buy Troy had 0 drafted & MooU had 4, including a punter. Maybe you were talking about the around 12 now 14, that he ran off, blocking a transfer to TCU for an Olineman. Another, a CB, transferred to Bama using the Juco route.
