Wrong, like him which you clearly don't, or hate him like you do, he is the coach of the LSU Football team, the same team you trash every time you post.
No. Orderlies night off consists of @Kikicaca barring the door, breaking out his 1974 panasonic record/stereo combo. He plays every record with the songs that start with "Boogie" in it. ( Boogie Fever, Boogie Wonderland Boogie, Boogie Oogie, Oogie, etc.) He basically "Gets down with his bad self" while spinning his solid gold Disco platters. Not to mention he's about 5'10", but he's 6'4" wearing his platform shoes.
Nope. LSU has had 33 Coaches. Orgeron is just a transient coach, who will be forgotten soon. No true LSU fan thinks the Coach is remotely equal to the College or the Football team.
There is some merit to what @Don Castavez is saying about Hodson/Davis. Funny, I remember people arguing about this same thing while it was happening back then. Hodson, a fan favorite, was All-SEC 4 years at LSU, but Wendell Davis was a 2x All-American in '86 & '87. He was a 1st round draft puck, at a time we didn't have nearly as many as today. Hodson's pass percentage dropped from 61.1% to 52.6% completion rate in 1 season with Davis gone. 1987 was the last year Hodson completed 60% of his passes.. He only threw 16 ints his first 2 years, but threw 24 ints his last two years. That very young O-line had one of the very best Tackles in the SEC , Senior Ralph Norwood (RIP) & LSU won the SEC that year. (1988) I think it's more than fair to say Wendell Davis made Hodson a lot better. LSU All-American WRs: 4 Eric Martin (1983) Wendell Davis(1986 & 1987) Josh Reed (2001) Fred Biletnikoff Award Odell Beckham Jr. (2013) Paul Hornung Award
