    In my mind, you are not an underachiever if you make it to the NFL. That's just me.

    Wonder if you can email your points to McKnight?
    BTW you forgot to mention that Miles cares about his players, and is a players' coach.

    Perhaps should leave out the Saban and Bama bashing bit out. Negative recruiting may not work with this kid, and may turn him off, IMO.

    How about this...

    * LSU has the players in place and the players coming into LSU to support him. To be really great a player needs a strong supporting cast. McKnight will have that at LSU.

    * LSU will be a top 5 ranked team next year and for years to come. That means a better chance to play for a national championship. A better opportunity for more nationally televised games. A better opportunity for a Heisman and MUCH better opportunity to be drafted higher someday.

    * At Bama he would be the only show in town. Great you say? Hardly. Saban is desperate to win and win immediately. He would ride McKnight into the ground trying to win games thus increasing the chance that McKnight would get injured. McKnight's chances for injury are much less at LSU where he has a strong supporting cast and wouldn't be abused to win games.

    * The last running back at LSU named Joe also had a strong supporting cast. He was a 1st round pick and will be starting in the Superbowl this week.

    * LSU's new explosive offense. It's an aggressive, creative offense that is tailor made for McKnight. He can line up in the backfield, slot or at receiver.

    * Saban thinks he only needs "his" defense to win ball games. Instead of relying on offensive playmakers to win games he shuts the offense down and relys on his defense to win the game. What fun it must be to play in an offense who's only objective is "don't turn the ball over".

    * Bama is only the 2nd best team in Alabama.

    * LSU without Saban: 22-4

    * Saban without LSU: 15-17

    * There is no finer place in all of sports to play than in Tiger Stadium on Saturday Night.
